Description
Whether teaching adaptive lessons or utilizing keyboard technology to meet your client needs, this kit will rock your sessions!
Resulting from over 17 years of clinical experience of working with thousands of music therapy clients, we created this kit to give others the tools to foster client independent and empower them to become their “best” — one note at a time.
Music & Non-Music Goals
We provide ideas for utilizing the keyboard to meet the needs of your client no matter if they are taking an adaptive lesson or working on cognitive, motor, or speech and language goals.
Customized Visuals Included
While made for use with the Yamaha EZ-220, the resources included can be easily adapted to any digital keyboard. These will give clients a visual to sequence the steps of using the keyboard to select and play a song, to select a voice sound, or to follow the lights.
What’s included in the kit:
- Simple directions (playing songs and using styles)
- Tips to adapting the keyboard for a wide range of abilities
- Color-coded system using sticks and tabs
- Picture visual for choice making (voices, styles, and songs)
- Keyboard guides and stickers
- EZ-Play music books with large printed notes (images below)
