Justice is a Louisiana native who completed her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Louisiana- Lafayette (ULL), with a concentration in percussion and jazz studies. Justice’s passion for drums started at age two and her love of music expanded through taking violin and piano lessons during her primary school years. By age eleven, she was playing drums at the music ministry at her church.

In high school, Justice was part of the TAP (Talented Arts Program) music program and joined both the jazz and concert bands. From 9th to 12th grade, she participated in various performing arts programs and began to recognize how powerful music was in bringing people together.  She further honed her skills on drumset, piano, guitar, and in music production through self-education. During her time in college at ULL, Justice was a member of the following ensembles: Pride of Acadiana Marching Band, UL Jazz Combo, UL Big Band, UL Percussion Ensemble, UL Ragin’ Brass, and UL Zydeco Ensemble. Justice earned her Bachelor of Music degree in May 2017.

In August 2020, Justice decided to combine her passion for music and her desire to help others by pursuing a degree in Music Therapy. She completed her music therapy internship at Sharp Hospital—Coronado in San Diego, CA and received her music therapy equivalency certification from Saint Mary of the Woods College in May 2024.

In her free time, Justice enjoys exploring San Diego with her husband and daughter, playing local gigs with her band, serving on worship teams at two churches in the San Diego area where she plays drums and piano, and spending time with family and friends.

My goal as a music therapist is to empower and provide equal opportunities through music to all individuals. It is my desire to help clients reach their full potential through music and I strive to provide support and compassion to both clients and family. It is my mission and honor to utilize my gift of music to make others feel capable, strong, validated, and supported. “
